The end will come

The end will come. This God's reminder for me in today's readings http://usccb.org/bible/readings/111111.cfm . It might be scary to think about it, but if we dig deeper, we will realize that we should really be happy and excited, because although it is the end of our life on earth, it will be the start of our eternity in heaven with God, our Father.

We would not be worried if we are prepared to meet Him when he comes. When we procrastinate preparing, then we will be worried when he comes..

Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it,
but whoever loses it will save it.

IF we seek to preserve this life on earth, this temporary life, by being focued on worldly things, then we will lose the life God intended for us. If we lose this life on earth by dying of ourselves and our worldy desires, and follow God's commands, then we will save what God intended for us, we will experience everlasting life with God in heaven.

However busy our lives may be, may we be conscious that the end will come. May we never be to busy or distracted to prepare for eternity, to prepare for the time we will meet Him again.

God bless!
