Pray always

Praying is really important. This is why in today's gospel http://usccb.org/bible/readings/111211.cfm , Jesus told the disciples a parable to remind and emphasize the need for constant prayer.

Prayer brings us closer to God. Prayer changes us. As we grow closer to God, we are changed to be more and more like him. That is why praying is so important.

When we pray, God does not always answer in ways we want him to, or expect him to. They say that He answers in three ways. Go and gives you what you want, No and he gives you something better, Slow and he gives you the best. May we be humble enough to accept God's ways are not our ways and that God does not always answer the way we want him to.

Prayer comes hand in hand with Faith. We should have faith when we're praying, especially when God does not seem to answer the way we want Him to. We should not stop praying when God does not seem to answer, like the widow in the gospel.

May we ask for faith and continue to pray unceassingly, especially when things does not go according to what we would have wanted.

Reflection questions:
How often do i pray? What do i pray ? How do i react when God does not answer me the way i expect him to? What can i do to increase my faith?
