Keep Working

http://usccb.org/bible/readings/111011.cfm

For just as lightning flashes
and lights up the sky from one side to the other,
so will the Son of Man be in his day.
But first he must suffer greatly and be rejected by this generation.

The gospel describes how great it will be when Christ comes again. Everyone will know it is him. All attention will be on Him. But it will happen after he suffers greatly... after people reject him..

It inspires me and encourages me to keep pressing forward. It is easy to be discouraged when you're suffering and being rejected, especially if you know you're doing God's work. Bakit ganito, I'm doing His work pero ang hirap, frustrating... mali ba yung ginagawa ko? should i stop?

Working for God is not easy. You will experience challenges, hardships...but why should you not? The saints experienced this. Jesus himself experienced this. We are no exception to it.

May we be comforted by the thought that even Jesus suffered, and be happy that because we are suffering, we know that we are one with Him in his mission. Let's have faith and continue, knowing our reward in heaven is great.

God bless.
