Jesus answered and said to them,
"Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up."
The Jews said,
"This temple has been under construction for forty-six years,
and you will raise it up in three days?"
But he was speaking about the temple of his Body.
Therefore, when he was raised from the dead,
his disciples remembered that he had said this,
and they came to believe the Scripture
and the word Jesus had spoken.
The gospel today http://usccb.org/bible/readings/110911.cfm reminds me to be patient when i dont understand what is happening around me. It happened a lot of times to the disciples before, that they dont know or understand what Jesus was talking about. Sila nga na personal nang nakasama si Jesus, di ma gets lahat, e ako pa kaya? But that did not keep them from following Christ, from continuously learning from Him, from strengthening their love and faith in Him. Astig.
May we be like the disciples and continue to trust in Him, even if we dont understand whats happening. Let's have faith that like what happened to the disciples, in God's perfect time, we will remember and understand God's purpose - all for his greater glory.
