GOTL

The WORD today (See http://usccb.org/bible/readings/112313.cfm) reminds me that God is a God of the Living

There are times in life that we tend to question God – his actions, decisions, and even his mere existence. There are situations in life that we as ourselves is God is really present, or is he really alive and cares about us. The WORD today reminds us that he is alive and is our God.

Jesus reminds us that God is the God of the living – that is us! He is the God of our ancestors – Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and still is the God watching over us at this very moment. Despite all the calamities and challenges we are experiencing, He is our God and he is watching over us, protecting us.

May we take comfort in knowing that God is the God of the living, and be challenged that as such, we be willing to be his hands, feet and love to other living people who need to feel Him in their lives.

Father God,
Thank you for today. Thank you for another weekend. Lord, I ask for your blessing guidance and protection this weekend. May I be able to make the most out of this, may I learn a lot this weekend, and may I always be ready to be a manifestation of your real and living love to people in this world. Amen.

Blessed day!

In Christ,
-g-
