Multiplied

The WORD today (See http://usccb.org/bible/readings/112013.cfm) reminds me that God wants us to multiply our blessings.

We are all blessed. No man is so poor that he has nothing to give. Everyone may not be rich with material possession, but we have one thing we all have the same amount of - time. We all have our talents that we can share with others.

How do we multiply our blessings? Simple - we share it. We all have something to share. And we can only multiply it if we share with others, if we share our talents, blessings, happiness.

One need not be rich to help out the victims. You hear of soldiers giving up a day's food subsidy to donate to typhoon victims. You hear of street sweepers giving up their day's wage for donation. Instead of that amount benefiting only them, or their respective family, they wisely multiplied it by sharing it, by giving it away, thus making others happy, both recipients of the blessings, and people like me who heard about it and got inspired and motivated by it.

Multiplied.

May we all be ready to share to be able to multiply what we have.

Father God,
Thank you for today. Thank you for another opportunity to work, to earn, so that I can give more to others. Lord, I pray that you create in me a heart that would be ready to give until it hurts, so that more people can be blessed, and that my blessings can be multiplied. Amen.

Blessed day!

In Christ,
-g-
