Reflecting God

The WORD today (See http://usccb.org/bible/readings/111513.cfm) reminds me that we should reflect God.

Sharing an excerpt from the first reading:

For from the greatness and the beauty of created things
their original author, by analogy, is seen.

And in the psalm, we see something similar: The heavens proclaim the glory of God

How challenging!

Artists are known for their works. Artists become great and famous because of their great works. Thus, it follows that as creations of God, we should reflect God’s greatness and goodness.

As we live our lives, let us check if we are indeed doing this. Are we reflecting God’s goodness as we deal with others? Especially now that our country is struck with calamities, are we going out of our comfort zones and helping others? Are we giving and loving until it hurts? Are we giving our best in what we do – in work, business, sports?

May we respond positively to the challenge of reflecting our maker’s goodness and greatness!

Father God,
Thank you for today. thank you for another day to live. Thank you for another chance to be a Jesus to others. Lord, I pray that you help me respond to your challenge. May I show how great, how good and how loving you are with the way  I live my life. Amen.

Blessed day!

In Christ,
-g-
