Obedience

The WORD today (See http://usccb.org/bible/readings/121813.cfm) reminds me that God visits us in different ways, it is just up to us if we will listen to Him or not.

God visits us in different ways. Really. Mary experienced it when the angel appeared to her. Special, right? But probably we can relate to Joseph more, who experienced God in a dream. However, both of them were told something, and both of them obeyed and responded yes.

How God visits us is not important. It may be through an angel, through a dream, or through people and circumstances around us. What matters more is his message - is he asking us to start doing something, to stop doing something, or change something in our lives? And how we respond to his message determines what effect his visitation has in our lives, will be obey or not? Will we let him change and improve us, or do we stick to what we want?

Father God,
Thank you for today. Thank you for your visitation through your word. Thank you for your message. Lord, I pray that I always be sensitive to you and as i experience you visiting me and hear your message, may I always respond positively. Amen.

Blessed day!

In Christ,
-g-
